Let me list the difference
1) Swap between gold/elixir storage depending on which is fuller
2) Swap of position at the top and bottom of the lab and 3rd tesla.
3) Bk to the top.
4) btm right cannon/arch swap as arch upgrading.
Every single thing else is almost exactly the same.

Pardon me for saying this(gonna get label as a elitist again), but I've really seen tons of bases, from bases starting from pedrolee's screenshot thread, to the current base design threads, to the bases created by other youtubers. And believe me, I observe every single details of the base to look out for staggered T junction, or new tower placements, or other possible new inspirations to combat new WB's AI..
Never have I seen 2 bases so identical before
which brings me back to my point that youre not getting... just because someone post a pic of their base on this forum as long as nobody else posted it previously... it's their original? and every base in game after that is a copycat? im not saying the dude in the video didnt copy the design... im saying how do we know who to give credit to? there is no 100% fact who the original designer is because these forums hold a fraction of a percent of players who actually play the game.Quote:

p.s. - i still have the first PM i ever sent to anyone on the forums for knowledge - and that was to hannibal at the beginning of the year. I spammed the ♥♥♥♥ out of his Inbox LOL. I remember him saying then that he just plays this for a hobby and nothing more. Fast forward 4 months later.. what a freaking beast!! Everything he says in forums i normally re-read 2-3 times cuz it makes me feel smarter to be able to understand his knowledge he provides to us at his level LOL ;p I'm such a loser, lol.
I don't see the problem. It's not as if the guy ever lied, claiming he made the base himself without any outside insperational (which he may have actually done, too). All he said was "give me feed back on my base". Which is what he should say. Since the viewer is looking at his base. Maybe the guy should upgrade something different than Childish.
Anyway, it's not like bases are copyrighted. There is no way to claim or to find out that "This base was originally created by Childish". You could say these forums are an (unofficial) place where that happens, but I would guess that less than 1% of the people who have ever played Clash of Clans has read te whole base design thread.
I didn't read entire chain, but this once again proves to me one thing - there are NO original designs (unless MO's beetle or Ping's theme park v1.0). Any base design at this point is a variation of someone else's design. While I Pride myself in designing all of my bases, I've seen a dozen base variations or exact replica of mine. Does that mean I expect credits? Absolutely not as I do not know whether my base was inspired and created prior to another person's similarly designed base or the other way around.
This is just my 2c of course, but when people claim to have "original" design and their base looks anythign like flower, eggshell or segmented, I say ♥♥! You have not seen 100s of thousands other bases to claim it your own. Forum users prolly not even 1% of the overall player population. So while I am entertained and giving others credit for trying, I personally would refrain from the copyright wars.
Who's to say someone who doesn't even use these forums created a base like this before but never posted pics of it?
No way of knowing who made what and when, and if anything we have all borrowed ideas from one another to build our bases. Not many of our bases are totally unique, each one takes small aspects from other similar bases and we either directly copy it or mold its usefulness into our base.
