Image is abit small, so i brought out the magnifying glass :). No worries though, it's clear now. One to the details:

I. The wizard towers are well spread out, but too exposed. You want wizard towers to be hard to destroy, while protecting storages.

II. Square bases are very easy to analyze, but your spread-out design will make up for it. As well as the multiple compartments.

III. Point defences are well placed, i wouldn't change those very much :D

IV. I can't tell what position the xbows are in, but they should perform best in Ground & Air type.

V. Traps are well placed aswell. Aswell as the well placed air defences.

Your base is a very nice th9 base. Must say you did a good job on your base. Hope this helps!

Cheers -- a work in progress, from analysing attacks - not sure how to get the whizzies a level deeper without exposing storages - I spose all bases need a compromise or two --- will keep tinkering :)

Nice base, Ive seen this base many times in wars, online, and even just revenging. It is good except it's few flaws:

I. There is one HUGE compartment inside the base. One troops get in there, its all over.

II. Leaves clan castle non-centralized. Clan castle is one of the most important defences. The troops inside could easily change the outcome of a battle.

III. Storages are pretty easy accessible, although im pretty sure your pushing, considering you have that base.

IV. Teslas should be upgraded. Teslas could be a big help, especially against pekkas. And since your base is so open inside. GoWipe could easily be effective on this base

V. Traps like the air bombs and seeking air mines should be more central, to be more effective.

Your base is coming along. Keep upgrading your base and you should be in for a powerful base :D. Hope this helps.

yeah but the traps are mainly for killing healers that come along on side not really meant for dragons and stuff(due to fact my air defenses floor them fast)
having a base that has centralized CC, Good spots for storage's, good placement use of mortars wizards and archer towers and still being able to keep stuff out the base is hard z.z been searching all day

Still possible though. I make all my bases myself. I personally can't stand copying bases. Bases have their up and downs. Keep that in mind.

im not particularly pushing due to fact im only in gold 3 but i just like having my defense count high as you can see xD plus i HATE farming bases with a passion. They are so useless and barely even keep resources protected

Glad to be on board.

Just a quick side note... I have yet to be attacked with this base so I have yet to see how it holds up. I appreacite the advise.


I. Getting the tree wasn't that much of a daunting task as it seems.... it just took a week of having a huge double walled off square in the middle of my base. Finally a large tree (I was hoping for the dark green trees like I have on the outskirts of my base spawned) spawned directly in that middle aisle down the base space.


II. The double wizards and teslas are ideal to defend my precious dark, however I don't think someone using three lightning spells (I think it would take three to wipe them both off the map) is really a threat. If someone did zap those two wizard towers then we both know that's fine because they won't have any spells left.


III. Mortars aren't good for anything but wiping out ground troops, so I placed the mortars on the outside hoping somone with a BARCH/BAM sweeps away my mortars only to get lured and funnelled right into those giant bombs. I recenty just switched those mortars and cannons in those top two compartments because I felt that the mortars are more defended with the top two archer towers and collectors acting as meatshield.


IV. Hogs are everyone's worst nightmare at TH8... and hogs with heals is a definite KO. There's not much I can do, you either have an anti-hog base or else. The giants bombs and spring traps at the top are bound to put a dent in a wave of pigs.


V. Point defenses aren't that well set up in my own opinion because there is a good 15-25% that is undefended. I pushed the archers towers out more so the clan castle is harder to lure. You need to take down an archer tower at the top of the base to enter my clan castle's radius.


VI. As I briefly explained, I'm only saving up 500K of each resource before I spend it so my storages don't get full enough as to where someone is going to attempt to take it out. I agree with you on that having two storages next to each other like that is risky.


How does that affect your advice? Also, if any other member of the crew wants to add some of their own feedback to this conversation, please go ahead.
