I think there is more than enough here for someone from supercell to post something in regards to this topic and where the company stands on it.

Even through being a TH 8 I know how much THs 9 and 10 suffers from not having heroes in war due to upgrades... Well, hope they add that soon!

Signed, first time I had heroes upgrading during war since I always upgraded them after, now I had a few consecutive wars and was frustrated without them on some instances, managed but still, we need the heroes for war.

I think we should be able to use them during upgrades...there's enough problems with war match ups. If this will help level the playing field even a little bit, I'm all for it.
This should definitely happen. Heroes are such a crucial part of a clan war, so I'd say we need this ASAP.
Posting again to get some more recognition of the problem. The more people that sign and respond here, the more likely supercell will notice this as a real problem, almost game breaking problem for clan wars at TH9 and Th10.

its true, the enemy has no hope against my war base with no archer queen. It isnt fair to them.
I would love this.. My king has been sleeping for 6 straight weeks, it would be nice to use him for wars. Plus I'm about to start doing my queen.. And everybody knows how impossible it is to attack competitively without her. This needs to happen.

It is a great idea. Do you try to make me play longer because of the choice I have to make either upgrade heroes or play clan war? It is not necessary. I will play regardless but it will be much more fun for everybody to have heroes during upgrade.

Defenses are up for clan war to the previous lvl, why not heros. You are sacrificing alot during war when a hero is down.

I agree. You can use your other offensive components while they're upgrading, same for defenses. Why not heroes? Please supercell allow heroes to be used in wars whilst they upgrade.

But then barracks only take, what? 14 days total from lv1 to max? Where as each hero takes HUNDREDS of days, each upgrade averaging 7 days. Also, with barracks, at least you get to use your other three. Really, upgrading you barracks is just an inconvenience. Not really put at any disadvantage.Quote:

this thread has been around longer than any other. and still nothing is being done. for upper levels it makes such a huge difference in war. all the sand bagging th 10 s that want to hang out in super low trophy counts and not have their de stolen got their way with lightning not working on storages anymore, even though that was one of the worst updates ever. the first blower made no sense but was added due to ppl whining about dragon attacks, and then another one was added because ppl were still whining about dragon attacks and now the once great lava hound balloon attack is more or less impossible. as if defense doestnt already completely out weigh offense at th 10. what other worthless updates will coc do to try and get ppl s minds off the most unanimous thread on the forums? heroes should be available in war. ppl will still buy gems and you will still make money, make clan wars an even match up. its bull ♥♥♥♥ that wars are being decided based on whether or not top guys have their heros in war.

I agree with andrgin. Heroes should always be available when upgrading just like regular troops. They are even more vital in war
