Speeding progress & cosmetic changes are a good place for IAP.

Phil, I get that you don't see War as core & If that's how you see it then fine.
But what this thread must tell you is that lots of players do see war as the absolute core of the game.

There's a way of thinking that states " Unhappy customers don't matter if the bottom line remains unaffected ". I disagree with this thinking, unhappy customers are often a problem that has not yet happened.

It's not a question of greed but of the balance between playability & profit. From my viewpoint, as a player, the balance looks wrong.

You don't need your heroes to war. You can fight in a war without them. Core gameplay or not, you are not restricted from participating. Any restrictions placed on you are either self imposed or come from other players. Not Supercell. You can war without them. You war better with them, but you don't need them.

In the same way that defense is a core part of the game, you can defend without all defenses active. You can defend more effectively when they are active, but you are similarly incapacitated when defenses are upgrading for defense as when heroes are down for war. And very few people are championing for upgrading defenses active during defense.

Rushing upgrading heroes is a great income for SC. There's no way they are gonna give it up

Yea i back to back upgrade both heros at the same time...been out from wars for 2 month

I understand your concern Mr. Tiler but dont you think people signed this petition because we are very "hopeful" and "wishful" that supercell will hear our needs regarding the subject matter. Please let supercell decides on our petition and not by telling us that its very impossible to be done. i believes that with the hundreds of petitioners who signed here knows what are they doing and they know the real problem of the game. I believe that upgrading heroes should be available for attacking for clanwars because its a basic needs to be complete and competitive in clanwar.

Lol, in my clan I'd give you a polite warning, 2nd time you did it you'd get kicked.

As for Defs being the same, I think you'll find upgrading Defs still work in war.
