Supercell is too greedy, they want hardcore war clans to gem heroes in order to compete with other clans. Diabolical

But upgrading hero is not the same as upgrading the troops. It is similar to upgrading the spell factory itself. You can not use spell factory in war while they upgrade.

Common sense, I mean its kinda dumb you have to wait 7 days without using them anyway. If you are to upgrade them consistently on cooldown its like 6 months of the year you cant use them, its ridiculous and the reason why I have just sat mine at 20 for so long, I want them in attacks.

yes, lv hero count to find enemy in clan wars, but while that hero in upgrading we cant use in CW,
i think its not fair while the hero still stand in defending base.

I'd like to see a 1h hero upgrade "pause"... I.e. for 25 gems (same as a de drill boost) your hero upgrade is paused and they become useable for 60 minutes. If u war back to back and upgrade both heroes... That's 350 gems per week. Have your analysts run the numbers SC. I bet more people will be willing to spend money on that than straight upgrade times.

Heck! You could do the same thing for barracks, factory and other upgrades (pause builder for 60 minutes).
