Totally! Since heroes are available on defense, only fair that it is on offense too. Makes the war so much more interesting and hopefully exciting too for both sides. :cool:

This is sadly correct.

SC wont do it, they make some money out of it because people will gem them upgrading hero time for gems, which makes SC money, I have also gemmed my AQ for war

I wholeheartedly support this as well. They will still not be available to raid or defend in nor-war battles for a week anyway, so the incentive to gem will still be there. Those who are hardcore enough to spend thousands of gems on their heroes will still gem them imo. Wars are just 6 attacks per week anyway, it is the 100-400 non-war attacks that will make most of them gem.

Clan wars are the only reason I'm gonna go to th10 without lvl 25+ heroes :(

This really hampers your ability to be competitive in clan wars, Both of my heroes take over a week each to upgrade and my clan wars once a week... See the issue
