I takes me every time 7 days to upgrade my heroes. After these 7 days I have enough DE farmed to start the next update, so I'm always in war without at least one of my heroes. This is a bug in the game because hero strength is considered while match making, but in the actual war you're not allowed to use them. Huge misbalance in the game. Please fix this!Quote:

Yes, it is annoying when Spell Factory is being upgrade, but you can sit out of a war or two during that.
At TH9 when you have to upgrade your heroes 20 times for a normal upgrade time of 7 days each, that is a big part of the game you would be sitting out. Even if you upgrade them both simultaneously.
Not sure what the thinking was originally, but Clan Wars is now a huge part of CoC, and this should be fixed.
The only reason they have waited so long to bring this is a blatant cash grab. They know a lot of people will gem hero time and rely on that to boost gem sales.
However since the advent of clan levels this is now made even worse. Reward clans for war? Great. Prevent the same people from war if they want to max their base? Lousy.
