I live and breath for clan wars. I don't see a purpose for this game (My opinion!) without clan wars. The game is clash of clans after all... clan wars is really the only way to... clash with other clans, other than those exclusive top 3 clans who compete for number 1 spot in trophies.
Not being able to use your heroes in war while upgrading isn't exactly an ideal match up... I view clans wars as a competitive strategic game, just like so in football, basketball, or any other sport. Each team has strategies and plans to win, offense and defense. Heroes not being able to attack in war while upgrading is like... every war being screwed with because each team has player injuries.
This decision of mine is not of selfish personal gain, I sincerely think it will improve the over all quality of wars for the game in general. Even if my entire clan and I had maxed heroes I would still sign this petition.
