Going to TH9. Am I ready? !¡PLEASE READ¡!

I went to TH9 with 2 skulls and I've had no trouble hanging on to my loot when it matters. Like you said it's better to upgrade than quit of boredom farming walls. Lvl 7 is fine for the time being, you're good to go

I don't agree with the post above. Walls are equally important and more so when you start moving into higher level gameplay. And sometimes higher level walls can persuade attackers not to attack you, which might work some of the time.

I suggest maybe getting 50% level 8 walls before moving on.

Already ready since you already max your defenses. Though walling is harder in th9

You're definitely going to have to do level 8 walls eventually. Do them now with the th8 loot penalty, instead of the awful th9 or th10 one. Just take a few weeks to do it, and you'll be really glad you did it before th9

Well it's too late as of now. I've already purchased that TH9 upgrade.

I don't see myself playing till maxed th10, thats why Im not bothering with walls. I understand the concept of loot penalty and I understand that it makes each TH level harder than the last.

I don't have a massive amount of time to play. The maximum amount i can farm per day is probably 1.5-2 million of one resource. Thats 3-4 walls per day. Which means ill be th8 for another 75 days or so. Im not doing that, ill quit on day 3.

Im more of an offensive player. I understand that defense must be good but I would much rather attack and gain 300k rather defend and protect 300k.

Ill probably end up with about 10 or so skulls once my town hall finishes. A month or so into TH9 I plan to have at least the core of my base skulls.

As for BK. Im not too worried about him. Ill focus on him to 10 once I buy AQ. Then ill focus on AQ.

Well you just made the biggest mistake of your life. Also people say they are going to quit but clash is more addicting than drugs and tobacco and stuff. You're going to regret later about not getting almost full skulls at TH8 when you're gonna be at the end of TH9 farming walls

I understand what I have done. No, I didnt make a mistake. Yes, I would quit before all skulls. Who cares if I regret it? Walls above lvl8 are for people who are dedicated and determined to play for a while. This is a casual, free-time game for me. Im not gonna farm 225 walls at the end of th9. Im gonna upgrade them slowly as I upgrade other things.

In the same boat as yourself a month or so back ....

I jumped anyway, and don't regret it at all, even with the loot issues......

(I did have my core as skulls before the jump, but close enough otherwise)..

The gems, personaly I'd use em on spell factory and one barracks - Means more often than not I have BK, AQ and at least 3 spells ready for when you come across that big juicy loot that seems to only appear when you are not otherwise at full strength...

i think ur defenses are good i would just work on getting a nice chunk of walls to lvl 8
