Goblins

lvl5 goblins are really great. When raiding mines there is nothing more effective as goblins. They are fast and do massive damage to ressources and also they are very cheap. Barbarians are slow and get distracted by other buildings. You have to learn when to use goblins and when to use barbarians. With only mines on the outside, use barbarians. If there are other buildings in front, send in the goblins.

Also for storage raids they are really good when combined with giant + barch, but you have to wait for the best time to send them in. If there are already walls left, they will all go to the same Piece of wall and die by the mortar or wizard Tower. If the wall is open, send them all in. About 30 of them are fast enough that the mortars do not get them is most cases. If you have a base with all Storages in the middle, break it open and send them in and place a heal spell.

Agreed. I currently have 5* Goblins, but I have always used them for farming.

When there are mines/pumps outside of a base you want to crack open, they're good at clearing those obstacles quickly so your more aggressive troops can go to other things. They also make great distractions.

Love goblins.....they are a key part of my hog farming army. Have you ever seen the damage these buggers can do when splash is gone? And for the record I have both 5&6.

If I am in farm mode I'll take 15-20 with me as they are industrious little buggers on cleaning out some collectors or storages quick. I sometimes take 30-40 if I'm feeling really "farm like". Normally combined with my giants, hogs, and other various troops. All my troops are maxed.

goblins are so underrated. i carry 60 gobs, 80 archers, 60 barbs. i fluxuate between gold II and crystal II using this method, and i get 50% on even hard bases. "why use goblins when i can use archers blah blah" okay well lets see.. if their are buildings in front of collectors you dont have to destroy them first, as gobs go right for the loot.. oh and do 64 DPS so its an absolute no brainer not to use them. but, no matter how much i tell people to use them, they call me crazy and say they suck. i'm not crazy, you just dont use them right. im sleep though. more loot for me.

it takes some skills to use goblins. For storage raids, you need to clear out the pumps and minds first. Make a hole into the core of the base with giants, then unleash your gobs. For some really tough bases, you can either use rage or heal on them and they will chew up storages in seconds.

100 barbs, 100 archers and 20 gobs. I must add WB at the expense of something else to go for inner storages.

Yep love my gobs. I use BAG to farm and my breakdown is..

70 barbs, 100 archers, 4 wb's and 42 gobs. Works like a charm on just about any base.
