I have never seen a follower's name listed in my store even if perhaps they did buy something (which I'm sure some of them do). None of my followers have avatars that I can see. I wonder if the version of OS we are using that is causing the variation? I'm using 5.1.1.

I have one follower that decided to make the commitment and became a GC friend. I could only see their avatar After we became GC friends.

FB allows anyone to see the photo/avatar so it would stand to reason that if you we're connected to FB you would be able to see the photo/avatar of a fellow FB user that's connected the game.

Oh definitely, wheat is the new black...err crack. You have to admit - wheat is highly addictive.
(I occasionally sell cheap wheat too, does that mean I'm pimping wheat? :rolleyes:)

I've never thought the leader board explanation plausible.

Hi I got 10 extra followers just from this bug when I didn't even advertise. Me personally think it is some how going into the newspaper somehow especially when you put the most wanted items when I put up the things on that people don't really want they seem to stay in my stall longer like shirts,hamburgers, but if I put red popcorn or butter popcorn ,cookies , cakes they end up gone in seconds and then other times I can put a few good items up and they stay and my neighbours can get them. Hope they fix this soon as it has gone on long enough angiex

I've had my share of mystery shoppers but I must be doing summat right (or maybe wrong hehe) as my follower grand total of 2 has not increased and the two followers I have are inactive anyway ;)

My farm must be ultra unattractive....or maybe it's my space invader crop fields that scare folk off :eek:

Same here. Only 11 followers here and no extra ones lately.

Oh, and maybe my crop fields are putting people off, too! They may not like my giant Dutch farmer!

About followers and pics

No increase of followers on my side, still only two (and one dead follower). Both have avatars that I know, however since two days their avatars do not show anymore. And a few more avatars have disappeared from GC friends.

Since potatohead is stealing my goodies I have never advertised myself (!) and never put up barn/silo stuff and all the good things go full price. Extremely boring. So very uninteresting for followers. And I always start filling my shop with basics first, that would make an ad placed without my consent also very uninteresting.

Every once in a while I test what happens when I do put up barnmaterial, but that always triggers the potatohead, even when I put up some basics first.

The paper I get is NOT full of unintended ads with good stuff, its mostly empty, repeating ads with nothing of value :(

It has been a while (....) that SC told us they were looking in on it.........
