Finding the weakness for xbows

I posted before about Xbows being overpowered. Not saying they shouldn't be of course for their hefty price. However, I don't see an overall weakness to get around attacking a base that has them other thalikes of spells and high health troops which are also costly in elixir. So I propose that the amount of elixir be shown on top of the Xbow in order for an attacking player to see just how 'loaded' it is or is it near empty. My original post was titled 'Tired of Xbows' which I thought would have had more replies on it. The Xbows are definitely abused by some players though. I have seen players get to TH 9 just for the sole purpose of acquiring the Xbow and having only level 4 walls at best..this just tells me they seem to be too easy to get in the game..
