Simple way supercell can fix the game

I realize this should be in a different section or attached to another post, but I don't want to get lost in the weeds.

There's 3 easy things supercell can do to keep the game fun and dynamic.

First, league bonus need to be increased, however the payout should be proportional to Stars obtained and exponential , ie verry little for one star much more for 3 stars. There should also be a kicker (bonus) based on base strength. These metric exist, bc supercell does it for clan wars.

Second, as it is now there's no incentive to win a defence, so cheap shielding protects loot and traps,xbows,infero rearming. There should be a loot reward for wining a defence, similar to a league bonus.

Third revenge should be eligible for league bonus. This should slow down the realy low level players trying to snipe to to high of a league. As it is now if a th7 snipes my th10, he/she does not need to worry about the repercussions bc I really can't get his/her loot. I could take trophies, but it would not be cost effective and would waste army training time.

These 3 thing combined together would really improve the game, it would encourage higher end army's, discourage but not eliminate th sniping/shield.

So those that want a challenge and actually want to raid could do so, and farmers could still farm. It would take nothing away from the I hate change group.

i like all of them., maybe supercell can implement them.

Bottom line is that the defense won. The league bonus is for winning, why doesn't the defender get the bonus in these cases? Makes no sense....

other than the changes to winning a def i think others are really good suggestions, unlike all the other threads.

Exactly. Especially if our traps /reload cost in a full army defense can easily go over 100k. It really takes the incentive out of a trophy base.

I like all of his suggestions and supercell needs to respond to them.

Base strength and stars attained could be implemented to prevent sniping and provide reward for attacking a well developed base.

All but one are great suggestions, the basis of clash is to develop your base,and to protect it, if you win loot for winning a defense. You might as well put your storage's outside your walls as you will win it back anyway.

I can see how you meant it, but as we all know, the long term goal of a player is to see how high they can push. It may take 2 years for someone to push, it may take 2 weeks, but ultimately, once your base is maxed, when there is nothing left to do, you push. That being said, when you win a defense you get trophies, the ultimate resource. Even gems can't buy them. That... is your reward for winning a defense.

Except you need to spend resources to get the trophies....on defense or on offense. Why do I get a bonus for actively seeking trophies, but nothing for a well designed base, or highly upgraded weapons and traps that cost a ton of resources to upgrade and reload? Not to mention all the CC troops clans build for each other. It should go both ways.

With all due respect, that is a ridicules assumption. The league bonus would not be so suffcient that you could put your storages out. Also, if you lose no bonus, I think most bases would be pretty Easy to 1 star with the storages hanging out.

Go back and reread the 3 suggestions. They work together very well. A a larger league bonus and incentive to get more than one star, you would see more expesive army comps, i doubt you would see people leaving out loot for a win.

The win defence bonus is more to cover the cost of traps,infernos and such. Maybe make a slight profit it would not be a Hudge profit center

Good suggestions all around. % trophies based on base destruction seems super legit.

That really makes no sense. I would not put my resources out and lose 200-300k to gain back a 21k defense win loot bonus. The league bonus would be great for winning defenses. All the ideas are good, maybe one day they'll listen to one of these.

Well said, but I would also like a little loot to go with it :P

also, this would have to be greatly decreased at lower trophy levels because in sub 200 as soon as you log off you win about 150+ defenses but I guess that's not really a league :o

all in all, all your 3 points revolves around the league bonus.

and league bonus. SHOULD. BE. INCREASED.

in my opinion , revenge attacks should not have loot penalty included , this way TH8 and 7s dont have an edge zapping higher THs and be safe from revenges

league bonuses should also give higher rewards . Considering how easy lower THs can snipe to higher leagues , higher TH should get more for destroying them , and higher bonuses will motivate them to crush those weaklings instead of nexting them

also TH shield should be reduced to 6 hours , reaching 40% should give also 6 hours , combined they will give 12 hours , and reaching above 91% will give the extra 4 hours of shield , this way you will see more loot since the shield wont be that long , and the attacker will have to reach 40%+ and destroy the town hall to give 12H shield

in my opinion , SC should release a little bit more inactives in the higher leagues , there are many TH9s and TH10s suffering from the loot drought and mainly using the loot bonuses to cover for it , and it would be nice if SC gives more loot to the game , since .....you know , their loot system isnt working at all and the the elixir became nearly non existent in the higher leagues (i think , not sure )

And make it cheaper to defend. Okay, so I put my town hall inside. Ward off some attacks (sprinting traps) then get nailed by a level 120 for 200k of each.

i guess that's the cost of those trophies. Oh wait, now I have to pay an additional 100k to rearm traps??

I just laugh when my kids put their TH inside and their bases get stomped, day after day. Yet they refuse to learn or adjust and put their TH outside. It's a strategy game and TH outside is an excellent strategy.

That said, they are hopeless at chess too. They don't understand why the King is lame and shouldn't be used to attack. :-)

It won't get lost in the weeds. It just gets the appropriate amount of attention it deserves.

Of course, some people are not satisfied with that and want more attention given to their threads. Attention seekers.

I like the idea of being paid if my defence wins as cost of resetting traps is annoying. I have strongly considered putting all my traps outside the base so they are less likely to be sprung when I have my townhall out and a bit of loot available. Trouble is finding safe place so they don't go off

Well, I hope supermcell tries this, the recent increase in league bonus did not help th sniping.

The only way to improve loot is to give an people an incentive to win a defence.

I tried doing it myself and protecting my th, I won one defence, and was attacked again before I could rearm, I lost the second bc no traps or king.

So out goes the th, just not worth protecting.

If you win a defense, then your base should automatically be re-armed at no cost + a small defense league bonus that increases (masters defense would be a lot higher than a gold defense)

+ leprechauns should cover your base with pots of gold while unicorns do the riverdance under a magic rainbow.

The game doesn't need to be fixed. There's nothing wrong with it. :)

Really in favour of any initiative to push stronger armies which for me are not used enough outside CW.
Higher and proportional league bonus based on stars is a good way to go.

Problem is there no reason to bother winning a defence, I had near max loot several time and no one could get it.

Without fail 5 minutes or less after I put my phone down my th is sniped. I stepped away to use the restroom, and I get sniped
