Well said. Decos. are fine. I actually think jackolanterns are neat. Just do not like to see my nice animals playing dead, or worse...looking like blood-suckers.
I enjoy the HayDay holiday themes and I don't mind if they hang around for a while before and after the holidays. Last year I got such a giggle out of the jack-o-lantern pumpkins that I wish that were a semi-permanent feature. I also miss the spook in the mine!

I had planned to buy some diamonds to use to purchase decorations for Halloween. However, even if the update came out today, I'd have less than 2 weeks to use them. I will just save my money, instead.
My FarmWife and I had planned extra spending for this Hay Holiday. Not now. Maybe the haters will spend enough to make up for it.
Too bad, really.
Sc is losing money but I am sure they will make it up somewhere else. I wonder if the delay is due to the latest updates. I'm thinking they might release the Halloween theme Monday or when the newest event is over. I'm so disappointed. :(

I had bought a iTunes card to get diamonds and collected up vouchers just for this Halloween event. Now I will just put more tunes on my iPod and work on my fishing with my vouchers. Got me wondering if they will skip thanksgiving and move on to Christmas. Of course that is if they plan on having Christmas???
I don't think they'll be doing Thanksgiving, as that is purely an American celebration, but who knows what's going on with SC right now.
it is possible that they planned something special that has taken more time to get right. That's the only positive spin I can put on this delay.
To be honest, I have today jumped ship and started playing another similar game where Halloween is in full swing. I feel kind of bad about that, but this game seems a bit stale right now.
Oh Supercell... Why don't you listen to your paying public????
It's simple.
Put the holiday decorations up a month before the event so that those who want to spend real money on decorations can do so.
Put the spooky theme/ghost on the lake/mist/costumes (if you must) a week before, and take that part down within a couple of days after October 31st.
Leave your Autumn theme on until the Winter one kicks in. You've obviously separated Autumn from Halloween so you know how to do it, bless your little cotton socks.
Similarly with Christmas. We all want to be in the spirit of the holiday/time of year about a month before. So we want the Christmas decorations on 1st December at the latest but you don't have to dress up the animals and the serial killers until maybe a week before. Then take off the Christmas stuff by Twelfth Night and leave the Winter one running until you see fit that it's Spring.
By the way... seeing as most of the world is in agreement when the seasons begin and end, why can't you use the correct dates for the seasonal themes? Hmm?
We know you can do it so why haven't you? Telling us it'll be here "when the time is right" is a cop-out, and you know it. Stop being lazy and press the button!
