No Halloween Decor in update? Is this not the "Halloween update?

Well, like I said, I couldn't find any country where Halloween-esque celebrations occur after November 1st, it certainly seems to strictly be an October-based holiday and October is more than half over now. Going by what I've read, it seems a big complaint from last year is it carried on weeks into November, which I can understand would be disliked since the occasion would have been over everywhere it's observed.

As for "USA timing", again, most other online games (even ones by non-US developers) that do a Halloween-esque event have started it already and many began the first of the month. Hay Day's definitely late to the party here.

What SC should have done was released the purchasable Halloween decorations at the first of the month, that way those who want to decorate could while those who don't aren't subjected to costumes on the animals -- which also seems to be the main complaint against Halloween or any other 'holiday' in Hay Day. Maybe SC should just stop dressing up the animals? :P

Wheres the halloween theme everyones talking about for hay day?

Ive got nothing. Ive sent in a bug report from the game itself on my iphone and am trying to figure how to get a hold of customer support but this forum lay out is a clunky mess IMO.

Dunno if this thread belongs here or not, dont care. Im starting to get really annoyed with this game bug and not able to actually contact anyone that can do something about it.

I agree, most people just want to buy the decorations(and the ghost). I think they could just dress up the animals the day before, or of Halloween and most people would be ok with it. I mean even Greg has Halloween decorations up, and isn't SC in charge of doing that. I just don't understand when they say the timing isn't right;however, if it isn't right why are Greg's decorations out. I feel like that kinda contradicts what they are saying. :p

It's not a bug. The Halloween update has not yet been released. Many people are unhappy about this. People who have spooky decorations bought them last year. Also, last month there was a brief preview the Halloween theme. It was a mistake, and only lasted a few hours.

A little off topic, but what is your guesstimate of how long the fall colours, toadstools etc will be around?

Going by the delay in autumn? I'm guessing until December 20th. Since winter solstice begins on the 21st I'd at least hope they started it by then, not that I suppose that'd mean anything since SC obviously works on a timeline separate from most of the rest of the world. :P

It came out a couple of weeks ago...but it didn't last long. I'm excited to see what they do for Halloween on Hay Day. It'll be my first. ^_^

Oh ok. I thought some players had the halloween update and others didnt. Ive been saving up Diamonds to get the new halloween stuff Im sure will be out and nothing. And yea I saw the halloween 'update' for like 5 minutes a couple of weeks ago and then poof, nothing since.

I wonder why they are waiting so long before they put it out.

In America, the Halloween decorations come out in the beginning of the month. Right now, almost every store and house that does decorate has been decorated. By now, almost all Halloween decorations are already going on sale in stores to purge inventory because Halloween decor comes down the day after Halloween.

Halloween decorations came out last month, Sept. Sparten I'm not sure where you from but holidays here in the U.S. Have become all about $$$. I would love if the came out the month of the holiday.

I have been waiting and waiting on the Halloween decorations. I do not care about the animals being in costume, I'm not a kid. I just wanted the decorations for my farm. I'm one of the few who are really into decorating more than being on the top of the leader board. I love to make my farm look very organically real as if you walked up it would feel so natural. WHY! Can't they just put out the deco in the sale shop and just let people decide if they want it or not. Why penalize us decorators because some don't like the Halloween stuff. I waited till the 16th when it came out last year, I assumed the deco would come out? Now it looks like it going to be whenever? Then it may run into November? Really? I truly understand the other countries this game is played in are different. That's why several have made the point as I have to just OFFER the decorations. Let anyone opt out of decorations, to have or not have. Well I'm very disappointed at this point in the holiday debate I'm not anticipating using my diamonds on deco. I will most likely still purchase the headstones for my permanent existing graveyard. But not any of the others, it's just too late in the Halloween season for that now.
