When writing a clan message, game times out

If I'm writing a long message the game times out if i take too long, or if i try and rewrite something differently to fit. You'd think typing would keep the game refreshed. If i tap the screen to try and refresh timer it closes message, theres no copy and paste on iOS, is this necessary? We need internal clan notes, above and beyond the clan info area. And of course we need war base donation info(pet peeve)

This has happened to me; it's very annoying. Sometimes clan messages take a good deal of thought (and editing). It's very frustrating when you're nearly finished saying juuuussst the right thing and the game times out.
