Push notifications

Why do i-phones only give limited push notifications? My ipad notifies me when I have been raided but my iphone does not.

I am on my first ever trophy push and have got to 3124 trophies. I had a shield that was running out at lunch time but I was at work so could not attack when it ran out. I logged in just before zero hour to empty collectors and then logged out again and waited 10 minutes to see who had attacked me and the result. Fortunately I won a defence for 33 cups straight away, unfortunately I lost an attack 4 minutes later. In total I lost 600k elixir in 4 minutes.

Now I'm not saying I would have won the second battle and I may even have lost as much loot but if I had had a raid notification I would have logged in after the first attack and stayed logged in until my heroes were back and my cc was full. I know I could have logged in and out every 30 seconds but this just seems ridiculous. I just want raid notifications on my phone!

You need to look into your settings on your phone. I have never missed a raid notification on my phone. Every now and then it won't tell me my troops are ready for battle, but it never misses a raid.

Ive been subjected to this weirdness in the past but it seems, from my experience at least, that you get the notification on the device you last accessed.

i run one village from 2 devices and notice my notifications getting mixed up.
My iPad even gives me the 'come back your village needs a leader message' if i havent used it for long periods...
could've just logged out of the village on my iPhone but still my iPad thinks the village is abandoned.


i also suspect network issue to have a lot to do with it.
My iPad for example is only WIFI so its at home constantly on the network and when in use, i see no issues with the notifications.
iPhone on the other hand, when im out and about, doesnt do so well at telling me something has happened in my village :)

The only time my iPod misses a raid notification is if I get spam raided by people dropping trophies. It doesn't even tell me I've been raided but I gain like 200 trophies.

Ok I'll have a look at my settings but I'm not hopeful because I do get the 'your troops are ready for battle' notification on my phone but not the youve been raided one.

No unfortunately not. its just about the mechanics of networks.
in my daily life i go through 3G, wifi at work and wifi on the train, all connecting automatically.
it doesn't surprise me it loses the ability to give you live updates and it certainly doesn't do it, minutes or hours after the event.

I missed notification all the time. No idea why :(

I had the same problem as you.

Make sure all notifications are set to on for CoC --- Allow Notifications, Badge App Icon, and Show on Lock Screen. Also the alert style should be banners or alerts. This will fix the problem.

Sometimes you won't get the troops are ready for battle alert because you opened the game while the troops were still training.
