Replay saving and sharing, maybe a separated app?

What about a Replay save and sharing feature that allows users to save replays on their own device and can be shared with specific people or uploaded globally...etc? Maybe a separated app, that access the saves, with a clan + global chat system, and a tag/search ...etc.

Or if you can have a separated pipe and storage for this, something like a Youtube, say CoCTube, but with native replay from the CoC engine rather than the video capture...

People are doing it the hard way anyway, and having a convenient space to save and share the replays should definitely make positive impact on this game.

The name CoCTube could use a little work. Just say'n. Also what you're proposing would be extremely expensive.

If Super Cell made an app that could access my replays, convert them to video, and save them to the camera roll, I'd pay $5 for it. Others would too.

If anyone could capture video of any app and save it as a video in the camera roll would make millions as a standalone app.

If anyone took the time to develop such an app with this ability, they surely wouldn't be stupid enough to lock it into just one app.

If anyone could do this for non-jailbroken devices, they would have done it by now.

not sure if Apple has an inherent limitations that prevents developers from doing this type of feature

Actually, there are solutions for jailbroken and non-jailbroken devices alike, but it's a pain.

Super Cell can create the app for this, and alleviate the pain, because they have access to the replays.

It is against Apple's rules to have one app affect another. That is why it needs to have direct access to the replays on Super Cell's servers.
