Barching is now useless

disagree with that too - I never use rage for barch, theres not much point in raging troops that are generally killed in 2 shots anyway.

I take 4 lightning but rarely use more than two.. two is sufficient to kill a mortar and open up half of a base and expose stores a little.

BArching works ok for me. I use my BK and his ability as a wall breaker if i want to get to the storages.

Barch is far from dead, I consistently get 200k of each resource in collector raids.

Barching is about the only thing that's NOT dead.

There are plenty of people out there who put their storages behind one layer of walls and think the mortar or the xbow behind it will stop people from barching them. They are wrong.

Also, many people put all their cannons and archer towers around the perimeter of the base and their wiz twrs and mortars inside. Use your barch troops to take out the perimeter defenses and then use the AQ to penetrate the core of the base. She can tank splash defenses for a long time and really clean them out. If it is a big haul I will occasionally use a healing spell on her. She is most often recovered in time for my next raid.

How is using spells with barch a bad thing? Sigh...30k added to the cost of a 60k max barch comp with some wb's thrown in. You still make a profit on anything with over 100k elixir which you would normally be looking to raid anyways.... No wonder you're complaining about barch,it's because you have no idea how to use it.

its not about 30k elixir
its about efficiency.
45minutes to wait for ONE spell is NOT efficient.

Did I say you need to use a spell for every single raid? Nah I didn't. You cook spells, barch in the mean time, if you need to use a spell you use it. I rarely do but when it helps to get in a core and take everything why the hell wouldn't I? Like I said learn how to use barch before saying it's useless. Which is almost impossible to not get barch right, so my hats off to you for making the impossible possible.

If there is less loot now then BArch is more important than ever for a high intensity farmer - you need to be banging out as many raids for the least cost as you can, remember you can't find many decent bases if all you are doing is watching your high tier troops build - "next" is your friend

So in other words, the only ways to successfully storage raid with barch are

-The person is an idiot and leaves his full storages behind 1 layer of walls

OR

-Use rage spells that take 45 min to cook and cost 30k
