The biggest dilima is always space in the barn. Now that I am playing again there is even more expansion stuff. Pls pls pls add a tool shed. Would make hay day life a happier and it fits. Really what farm would not have a tool shed?

There are a lot of us who have been lobbying for a tool shed. Yes, the point of the game is resource management; and, yes, it's not a race to get everything as quickly as possible. However, since the town was introduced there's a whole 'nother array of expansion tools to accumulate and a whole mob of folks descending on the shops asking for things that used to be a dime a dozen in the DD but now are scarcer than the proverbial hens' teeth.
I consider myself a patient player, and the planning and juggling of space is satisfying; but I agree with Ducky--it's time for a tool shed.
or upgrade materials shouldn't count into barn count.
Ducky is not moaning, just stating a fact. You are being judgmental. How do you know Ducky wants everything easy? You don't! How do you know Ducky wants everything in 5 minutes? You don't!
If we have the option for a tool shed then don't buy it Florence.
Once again, move over and give me some room on that bandwagon. A toolshed would be a great addition to this game.
@ florecethered not sure what game your playing but in hayday we buy diamonds not stars lol.
As I said before I played once before. I started my farm over from level one recently because I like things easy and I wanted a fresh start. I am finding that I am having a harder time with barn space with reasonable size barn, then realized there is all that town stuff now taking up space. They upgraded the game, the town is great! But the play was stepped up and the accessibility was left at beginning level. That's not whining sweety that's kindergarten math lol but don't worry I added a "lol" so I don't sound like a jerk
We need a tool shed period!
Tool shed please!!! At least fishing nets have their own storage...
Does anyone here every buy tools from the newspaper, neighbours, followers, people you are following etc ?
Well with a tool shed added to the game you can just forget about that as no one would be selling them anymore making it even more difficult to save up those items scarce for you.
You really do not need to hold on to more expansion items then your next upgrade requires of any particular kind. If for example nails is your easiest why do you need to hold on to an amount for 2-3-4 upgrades if you can't get the screws ? The greater the imbalance is the more difficult it will be to hunt down the items you need. Sell your surplus! by the time you get the items you need you will also get more of the ones you dont need and for the next upgrade after that you will find them again.
If you're lowish mid-level don't work on everything at once its simply impossible. While land expansions become a available at level 22 you really do not need to expand that much land yet until a long time. I remember a game going up to the coffee kiosk or candy machine before the first land expansions where added so everything up until that level fits on the standard map. You are bound to run into trouble being close to a silo, barn upgrade and land expansion.
Barn management is part of the game. Challenging yes, impossible as is no.
I completely agree shuffling and choosing is part of the game. If I owned a farm for instance I couldn't just add and expand when ever I wanted. I would need to save and plan. But sry on this part I disagree about the selling as it is scarce to buy expansion things. And to find the exact expansion thing not already sold that I need just not happening. I am not bashing the town I love the town but it has added all new things to expand. So I should just pick one of the many things to expand for room in barn? That sry does not feel play worthy. And just being honest would take way to long I would get bored and quit playing. I don't think the shed has to be easy make small and only upgrade with certain levels if people are worried it would be easy. If the makers intended us to be choosy about what we upgrade though then there should not be so many different items for different upgrades. Make all upgrade/expansion items the same as original so we don't have a few useless of everything but instead enough to then pick "okay I have enough for this or that, what one do I want" I am sry but ether the game is simple and stays basic or it is complex and has to up its game. I seriously mean this with respect though I do like the game. Hope that makes sense:)
What about a general store in the train add on area where you could trade your unwanted items or decorations in and get random building materials, axes, saws, land expansion items or possibly cash.
