During clan wars I like to keep my clan informed and up to date with clan news. I also like to give advice through mail. I think the game would be better if Leaders did not have to wait 12 hours before they can send another mail post to their clan members.
This is a great idea. It annoys me that the leader has limited mail too. But lets look at the alturnative. If the leader and co-leaders can send mail all the time, its going to be abused. You will get notifications every other minute because annoying people would spam it. Maybe we just shorten it from 12 hours to 5 hours an give more space. Good idea though. I hate waiting to send a mail when I realy need to.
It would be only unlimited for the leader and not co leaders. And if the leader abuses it thats the leaders own fault and his/her clan members could leave if they really wanted to.
If your leader keeps spamming messages, try finding a new clan...Quote:

Unlimited mail for the leader only I think is a necessity for this game. It has many benefits.
The developers limit everything in this game to prevent issues. Clan mail is no exception. Think about everything you do in game. All of it has some sort of limit.
Dahimi I guess you are not a leader, so u would not know how essential mail is! And what limits are u referring to exactly?
But if they need to limit it, shorten cool down to 1 hour only. Any longer wait is too long.

As to the limits I'm referring to, every single thing in the game has a limit. There have been no features implemented whatsoever that allow a completely unbounded limit on the the number of things the game has to keep track of.
The attack logs are limited. The replays are limited. The numbers for achievements are limited. The number of people in a clan are limited. The number of characters in the clan description are limited. Etc...etc...
All of this is deliberate because it ensures that they can allocate resources solely based on the number of players. They know if they have X number of players, that they can only consume Y amount of resources rather it be network bandwidth, cpu, disk storage, etc.
SC has to be very careful that they add no features that would permit a group of players to organize around and exploit to take down the game. Clan mail is no exception. Now it could be the limits could be reduced. However unlimited anything is not going to happen.
Ok I see what u are saying. Having to wait 12 hours to send a mail is ridiculous though its way to long. So with that Id say a 1 hour wait between mail posts would be plenty.
