I have noticed that the clans have a Coast to the left of it. I was thinking maybe perhaps that could be used for a harbour where boats could e built to help attack other clans from the sea or even gather resources.

Plus since there is only one source of water, People could easily defend against sea bourne attacks. BB is like this, but yeah ^^ what he said.
