This may sound like a crummy idea, but don't you wish your Barbarian King or Archer Queen Looked different from the others? Had its own outfit or hat? I think this is could be a new feature that supercell could add (and make money off of). You could purchase outfits or shoes/hats using gems or dark elixr.
Just an idea, criticize if you must.
