Come visit our clan, see the amount of applicants and then tell me you can judge them based on shield alone - I still have to look at their base which funnily enough shows me the player level to determine if they can join or not.

Well I want to farm. And to farm, I need to stay in my sweet spot for big loots, which is 1400 (Gold III). I don't wanna go and trophy hunt.

My point exactly. If they see Gold III, then you would fall into the farmer/average gamer/not rushing for trophys level.

You aren't in the noob territory (silver and below), but you also aren't in the cream of the crop either (cool shields)

While I agree that the shield is a great indicator at the upper crystal levels and above the issue with that is the player distribution puts the vast majority of people into the range of gold and silver. For every 1 application we get for a crystal+ we probably get 100 gold or below applications.
