I still have no idea whats so big deal about TH9? They will only lose access to TH7 or below due to loot penalty, just like any other THs (e.g : TH 8 loses access to TH6 or below)
TH9 has access to max lv troops, Arch queen, and larger army camp
Im now th8 and will upgrade to TH9 as soon as i'm done researching my main army, why is that a bad idea?
I attacked th7s very frequently when I was farming skulls at 8. If you want to lose that capability then go right ahead and rush.Quote:

Yeah, loot is not as abundant here compared to lower THs. But ocassionally, you will run into some.
If you are searching villages for tons of resources and only searching players that have 1600 trophies or more or less, you should win more trophies and be in a higher league. When upgrading Town Hall to level 9 there would be a note saying 'Upgrading will reduce your loot from opponents with town hall level 8 and below'. You should be in a much higher league like the 'Crystal League'. You will find players with tons of resources, some of them and also more Dark Elixir, also you should have stronger troops and a Barbarian King.
Where I am at the moment, I am level 56, I have a level 7 Town Hall(TH), I am in the the Gold League Division 3, the most trophies I had is 1484, my archers are level 3, my barbarians are busy upgrading to level 4, which will be done tomorrow, I have level 4 wizards, level 4 giants, level 4 wall breakers and level 2 Balloon(I don't use them because they die to easily, cost too much elixir, use too much housing space) and level 1 healer, I need to upgrade my spells, and I trying to get enough Dark Elixir to get a Barbarian King.

Is this thread just about people complaining that they used gems to skip up quickly and now they're struggling?
surely if its done in bits then your league would have increased too and you'd still be able to raid successfully? Im assuming that the reduction in % is meant to coincide with the increase in stores.
you've made your bed... now you'll just have to lie in in im afraid.
alternatively, leave your stores somewhere nice and accessible if you quit ;)

I am a new TH 9 after fully maxing TH 8. I knew about the loot multiplier and expected to see much less loot, but i am still getting 500k combined raids, though they are harder to find some days than others. I raid with BAG day in and day out and have paid for new upgrades to par with existing defenses and have gold waiting on builders. I have been raiding 1650 give or take 100. I am going to go up to crystal to farm DE after last troops upgrades done. I think i started after the loot multiplier upgrade so i may not have a good point of reference, but i am finding good enough loot to fuel continuous upgrades to my TH 9 base since turning over.
A clan mate was kind enough to share a replay of a TH 10 raid with a smattering of lvl 1 walls. My first thought was "He is so f*cked"...max your defenses, max your walls, max everything you can before moving up. I'm a few hours shy of TH 6 at this point - the only thing not maxed out are my collectors (seven level 9's and three level 10's). I was hell bent on leveling up the collectors until I couldn't stand the fact that I had to sit on my hands for another 8 days to get it done. Collectors are the only exception to the rule, but even then you should have them leveled up a bit.
This thread is over one year old, who on earth did you even stumble upon it?

Move up to crystal league. You will see a ton of loot up there.
How I see this, I will never be where you are. I am a th7 so nowhere close to th9, never bought gems, ever, and most likely never will.

TH9 is the most prestigious TH in the game. Why not have fun in farming to max th9.:thumbsup:
I had the same problem as you, go to 1500 cups or 1850 cups, loot is good at those spots now. Storage raids, not collector raids. You will need level 6 giants and archers or you'll fail.
Dude when you clixk on TH Upgrade it'll say,this will reduce your loot from ThX and below...pretty sure this is for all TH upgrades
You should learn the basics of the game before you spend / do anything which has concern over your money....
honestly, this game requires patience and of course - hard work :)

I think the bump was an effort to show history repeating itself. We will be bombarded with posts like this for the next few months, but in the end the same rules apply. Don't rush.
Yeah i also regret getting to 9, I wish i were an 8.5, easy wars and good defence. but nothing can be done now lol

There is a loot penalty warning on the upgrade tab for each th. Farming is easy at th9, my 8.5 is rolling in loot and I've spent no cash on it... but, i did max th8, if you go up without maxing troops first then yes, you'll be in a world of pain till you catch up.
Hardly supercell's fault though is it?
