How can someone have 8,000,000 gold in storage and the cap is below 200,000? That is lame. What's the point of having strong defense when there's minimal penalty for being destroyed and where's the excitement of scoring a big payday.

Level 11 storages hold 2,000,000 each. At TH9, having 4 storages, 2,000,000 x 4 = 8,000,000.
You are probably a TH5 with level 6 storages or something.
Im approaching it from a raid perspective. It's too low relative to how much can be stolen. Not only can you not store enough, but stealing 200 from someone with 8 mil is too boring. You should be able to steal 20% of total stored loot not capped at 200Quote:

the other 200k was in collectors. the most you can steal from storages is 200k
The storage cap is 198k. The loot "penalty" is a bit of a misleading term, and I prefer the term loot multiplier. The TH difference goes both ways: it can lower your loot or raise it. You can get up to 200% of the loot if the attacker is 3+ TH levels lower than the defender.Quote:
