I love the league system. It gives rewards for winning battles and whatnot and most of the time you face people who are the same level as you.
But that's where it ends. The league system is so broken especially for newer players like me (Level 30) because I have 1000+ trophies and I'm facing level 50s (with similar trophy amounts) who have the most ridiculous defenses. I don't have a fighting chance at all. I spend on average 10000+ gold just to find a village that I MIGHT win a raid against, which is really annoying and unfair to players similar to me. There are also really low amounts of reward per raid that you win, which is another problem that is further discussed here:

I propose that the league system be changed such that trophies are not the sole determinant of league place but levels as well. In fact, levels should be the main determinant as you will face people who spent similar time, upgrades, and overall effort to build their villages/armies/defenses. The leagues should look like this:
Bronze: 0-20
--DI= 0-5
--DII= 6-12
--DIII= 13-20
Silver: 21-29
Gold: 30-39
... Etc.
where divisions consist of the lowest, middle, and highest 3 levels (Bronze is an exception). For those who do very well (like me, a level 30 with 1000+ trophies), they should be promoted to the next division, but not the next league. For those who do very poor or purposefully demote themselves, they should be moved to a lower division, but not any lower league. For example:
XxxDarkQuikScopezxxX is level 55 and wants to demote himself to prey on the noobie level 20s in Silver. In my system, his lowest division that he would be able to be demoted is Division I but stays in the same league of level 50-59.
This prevents players from demoting themselves to the lowest leagues and bad players from falling to far from their deserved placement. This also gives players an equal chance of winning and losing against others of the same level, which inspires good strategy because your opponent will have defenses that will most likely match the power of your army. This will not create a rift in multiplayer that is present right now (in my case, opponents 20 levels higher with much more defense than my level 30 army can handle even with the best strategy).
What are your guys' thoughts?
