Idea: the mutant rose called Thorns.

Thorns


Description: Thorns is a red rose with an evil smirk on his face, he walks on a green stem with splits in half at the bottom making legs and feet. The arms are made of leaves.

Ability: Thorns walks around attacking defenses by thrusting an arm into the ground, for 10 squares, thorns shoot out of the ground damaging the buildings in the thorns' path.

Guys, this is the same guy who brought you the branshee, flame buoyant, vampire, and sprite, all mildly successful troops, please check this troop out as I think the idea is good but maybe the range should be shortened, idk, but anyway, post your thoughts and view this thread

You and your plant monsters lol. I think it sounds like a cool idea, I guess like a range support for giants... But I think if that's the case it should be weaker maybe have like 200 to 300 life

An archer has 3.5 tiles range

The archer queen only has 5 that definitely needs to be reduced

Art doesn't match the description precisely but that's what I picture a rose looking like if dark elixer made it into a monster

i do still like the concept art but if two of the legs were moved up a bit more on the stem it'd be perfect, i can't be picky though, its still amazing art. Anyway, the idea was that Thorns, wouldn't be able to be touched. That being said, I guess I should move it down, but still kep him out of range of most defenses, 7 seems reasonable then.

i like the idea, but i think that it should have the same range, but only attacks one building that is within that range

The idea is that the spike shoot up uncontrollably from the ground, so he only targets one, yes, but within the range of 7 tiles, the buildings will get damaged which could be at best case, 4 builders and worst case, 2 infernos and an xbow which thorns would have to hit precisely in the right spot

Another thing about thorns is that every 0 seconds, he gains another arm, this doesn't add to his health but it means that he shoots out in more directions,(no maximum amount)
