I'm a TH9, have 2 DE drills. One of them is level 1, the other level 3. Low, I know. I'm now desperate to max them after knowing just how important they are to upgrading my heroes. So what I'm asking is should I go for the level 6 drill from the level 3 or make the level 1 to 3 first? Thanks
Having two level 3 drills makes more DE per hour than one level 1 drill and one level 6 drill.
In general, it seems best, when reaching new TH, to buy all new stuff available, then upgrade to current levels, before moving on, to newly available upgrade lvls......
(just finishing my 2nd drill to lvl3)
Also with current loot issues, it's probably easier that way as well... :cool::cool:

At the end of the day it makes no difference whatsoever.
Just do what you want unless you are desperate for DE at the moment.
If you're a good farmer then try constantly upgrading both at once
It always makes most sense to upgrade your lowest items first. The higher level the upgrade the less increase in production/firepower you get per resources spent. Therefore it is much more economical to upgrade your Lvl1 drill first.

I would first up the lvl 1 to lvl 3, because a lvl 3 can hold drilling for 10 hours, which means you can get your DE after your night... While upgrading your lvl 3 to lvl 6, you would nearly drill no DE at all...
I just hit 9 today. My plan is to get the second drill to lvl3. then focus one to lvl6 then the other to lvl6. That's just my plan, idc if it's optimal or optimized or optimus prime, it's just how I like to do things :D
