Plans for the future - lego walls and beyond.

I recently maxed my TH 8 base - except for 220 or so walls that are still level 7 (which I've started grinding). I'm now wondering about plans for the future. The game is starting to get a bit stale, and while I am determined to finish my skull walls, I doubt I'll ever go for all legos. I've talked to some higher levels and I'm getting the idea that legos aren't really worth all your time and effort. I'll max TH 8 completely, move to TH 9 and have some fun, then after I've maxed all my defenses I'll move onto TH 10 with my skull walls.

Skull walls look pretty badass too :)

that is also my plan when I was still in TH8... skull walls then never to upgrade it...

but i'm now planning to max my walls again to max level for th9. lol

the new update makes it easier to max walls (but still needs grinding)...

anyways, max walls are farmers' trophy... so get your trophy!!! :cool:

but, it's up to you if you think lego walls are worth it or not. :)

just an FYI, skull walls are destroyed by 2 level 5 wbs... and level 5 wbs are not that hard to reach... lego walls need 3 level 5 wbs... so... what do you think? :)

I think there's this thing called the Jump spell. I hear it doesn't like walls.

Fact is grinding walls for weeks on end with all idle builders is not fun. Skulls are perfectly fine, and if you ever get to max TH10 you can start legos again, at least you'll have all the content of the game available to you

At Th9 you actually don't just grind walls. As a Th9, you can be upgrading your BK and AQ to level 30, which takes quite a while to do in terms of upgrade time and to raid the required DE. Also, it is a bad idea to do legos at Th10 as looting at Th10 is worse than th9. In short, if you ever plan to get better than skull walls, your best option would be to do it at th9.

Might be true in normal gameplay, but for revenge and clan wars, your opponent has time to analyze your base and build the right troops/spells for it... If you make it too easy to break through your walls, he can save 1 or 2 jump spell and build some rage/freeze spell instead... so in the end, he does beat you because of your weak walls !

Agreed. And it seems some people don't understand my first post. Obviously level 11 walls are better than level 10 walls, but no one has the time to farm those. I'll farm skull walls, but I know that I won't have a) the time for lego walls and b) even if I find the time, I'll quit before I finish, because it's boring. If I have time to play video games, I might as well enjoy it.
