Th should hold 50-100k each ant this would slow. You would get to raid more bases. The way the game should be played
I agree with this 100% - losing TH should give you a large % of the base total resources so people have to protect it. I don't think people realize this is the core of the problem with loot. 80% of everyone that has resource has a shield up at all times at the cost of nothing but a few trophies. This is why I always take as much from them as I can as I despise the tactic and it is bad for the game.
I take issue with this... in fact, i think it goes far in fixing some of the issues this game faces.
If all the active players were getting sniped, they would have shields for most of the time (not all, obviously, but a lot of the time). This would allow people to save and have more on hand so, occasionally when their shield was briefly down, they would be a juicier target.
They are happy because they've been able to save more and you are happy because you have a fat cat to hit.
Additionally, if more active players have shields, then you dont have to next as far into inactive collector raids.
Right now, I have to next through a ton of trophy pushers with no loot before I find either a farmer with good loot or an inactive collector raid...
Honestly, except for achievements, I dont understand trophy pushing before maxing. What does it prove? What have you accomplished? You show everyone where the natural glass ceiling is for your development?
here is the thing sniping townhalls is all good and well but make sure you are not snipping the super fat juicy targets. 150k or less gold 150k or less elixer you can snipe that if you want but dont snipe 200K+ loot bases when one more next will probably give you better trophies for your snipe on a base with no loot. chances are the juicy loot base you sniped are hardcore farmers and super active players and they will likely get revenge on you taking all those trophies back + all your loot. its in snipers best intrest to only snipe bases with little to no loot.
your th sniping anyway so one more next wont hurt you because you want to keep your loot low.
this is only for gold leagues and lower. do what you got to do for the higher leagues because far less people have they townhall out. but in gold leagues and lower tons of people do.
There is a reason, not that i do it myself. But say you are Barching and find this th outside but also 300/300k loot available. You wouldnt just leave after sniping th would you ? not me, i would go for 2-4 of those juicy storages. But say the TH was trapped with some teslas around it. That would make me lose many troops on the snipe, giving me less troops to take out the storages. Some trappers do it for the lols as well. But there is some strategy to it as well
Imagine if in order to get a shield, you had to risk your resources based on your defense. I'm pretty sure this is how the game was intended in design. I know for sure it would work better and their would be more juicy targets to farm if leaving out TH was removed from play. There should be serious consequence for losing TH - on the measure of % resources of the base. It's the capital of your city, it needs to be worth something.
I don't get why people would protect the TH.
There is no single benefit from protecting TH other than testing base's defense.
