Global Chatting

Well, this is my first post though been playing for quite a while ( since the game started ( ios only )) anyway, I made a quick look on the ruled out section and I hope this isn't posted nor ruled out before. The main idea of Global chatting is to be GLOBAL, I always find local chatting not GLOBAL , so I hope u can add a GLOBAL Chat which has maybe a cooldown feature to chat or without cooldowns. Wanted to thank you for the game improvements made lately , should have made these a long time ago. I wanted badly to start posting and join the Forums , i was just totally busy.

A true global chat would be a disaster. There's millions of players all across the globe, there'd be many languages in the chat, the messages would fly by before you could read them (or there'd be extreme lag).

Moreover to do that you would need EVERY player playing to be on the SAME server, CoC would crash

First off, Welcome To the Forums!
You being a vet, i can assume you know that global is made up of more like hundreds of lobbies of players from around the world and locally. That being said, i think that it is done to avoid a clutter of messages being sent in at once. I get what youre saying about a message cooldown, but that still would stop clans everywhere from spamming their Clan for a free co or elder, especially if everyone in their clan messages back to back to counter the cooldown. Of course Filters could be added to avoid certain words like "join here" or "free co" can be used but people will just work around them.
Idk what anybody else thinks, but i dont thik that this is going to work. Sorry bro :(

And assuming SC got it to work (no players getting kicked off, no server crashes, no flying messages, no 15 languages, and no extreme lag), this would likely happen creating more issues.

Well, as for languages, any other language than English should be banned/reported , that's why i suggested cooldown , it can be up to 5 hours it still is a global chat , can also add a system that mutes people who abuse/spam global if the idea of cooldown is not good.

I get what your saying but it won't happen on every clan offering free co-leader, and with cooldowns i think it will make a huge difference, not only cooldowns / filters, maybe limit the globals to leaders/co-leaders of clans to avoid what ur saying, though I doubt it would be abused that way.

Global. As in like, the whole world? And I find players that aren't from where I love all the time. I usually get Indonesians actually...lots of indonesians... . But anyways welcome to the forum! Although I probs shouldnt do the welcoming, as I am a pretty recent member too. Peace. Happy clashing.

it will really make extreme lag as every player on the same global over like 5m player in the same chat ? ilike JOIN MY CLAAN frree coo free elderrr JOIN NOOW etc ...

Welcome to the forums as well :D that's what i hated that I always get people i don't want to be communicating with, i can't recruit them either to the clan so Global to me is just an ignored tab. If a REAL Global would make the game laggy cuz there will be a lot of players, then make people choose thier GLOBAL , like to choose a server to chat on etc.

this won't happen if you really think for a solution to it , I can state many things to work this, it just sux to find people i don't want to talk to on global! they can add like servers u choose to join on with limited numbers, there are many solutions for the lag problem.
