Being TH8 is probably the best TH to be at for loot.
Tho I'd say your base design needs work, as it would be easy for another TH8 or higher to grab those storages
Yup, I agree, you made the jump a bit early. Stay in silver 1 and gold 3 and keep farming. You are in the absolute loot sweet spot. If you hate it as a th8, you'll hate th9 and despise th10.
Place your townhall in the farthest corner of your base so you can have free shield when someone snipes it. Also stay in a lower league until you have upgraded your new defensive buildings and your farming troops. After that I suggest you stay in Gold 2 as there's good lot for TH8 at that range.

If you want to get great loot as a TH8, you need to move up. (Look up loot penalties if you don't know what I'm talking about). Atm, just deal with the bad loot and get your base up to a higher standard. The thing with rushing your base is that you're not strong enough to get to a higher league with higher TH's to raid, yet you're too high a TH to get any decent loot in your current league.Quote:

As soon as I started complaining, some of them agreed but some of them were wondering what I was complaining about as they were getting constant full collector raids. I moved to the same range they were in, and that solved my problem real fast.
I just finished upgrading to TH8 yesterday. One of my first raiding sessions (after burning through way too much resources in upgrades :( ) was a TH10 maxed collector raid - I got about 300K gold, 300K elixir, and even a few hundred DE.
I guess my point is, try to experiment with your trophy ranges. I used to move up and down a fair bit until I got really comfortable in a specific range. I got too complacent there and didn't really think of moving up/down once that range ran dry - and I'm really glad I had people around me to make me move!
