Actually they finally did it with the 4th mortar. i don't know why they add fourth mortar to game that will effect the only cost/time efficient farming army.

Nerfing barch(barbs and archers) will mean you're nerf ing BARCH, all arch, giant-arch farming strat, and mass barbs (Most people who started the game use this)

It would be better if they nerfed it in clan wars. So many people loot in clan wars, we lose. It's pretty annoying, but I would think it is bad to nerf it in normal multiplayer raids because it'll cause too much rage. And by the way I use barch too.
