Leaving a clan after war has been declared

Quite a few people who I have spoken with said it would be a good idea to not allow people to leave a clan after war has been declared. This option or update would be better for the clans and keep clan hoppers numbers lower if this were initiated by supercell. Give it some thought, and if you all agree and especially clan leaders, please let supercell know by either posting a request or stating your agreement as part of this post. Thanks for considering this.

They are welcome to leave but at least use both attacks first ;)

This would be a great idea. I know what you are talking about because I am the leader of kyr assasains and SO many people were hoppers. Anybody who disagrees is probably a hopper

I disagree, and I'm not a hopper. Sometimes, ppl temporarily visit clans that some of their friends are in and leave after about an hour or so. However, once in that clan, some co could just start a war, forcing the visitor to be stuck there for an extra few days.

So you leave without seeing the war through? I thought you said they were your friends.

I think the timer that does not let them join other wars actually does not let join other clans.

You can join other clans while your original clan is in war, and then still return and fight in war.

Seriously? I disagree but I am not a hopper. Saying such a comment is like me saying clans that have a lot of hoppers are probably terrible clans anyways.
While trapping players during war seems like a good idea (that has been suggested billions of times)
These are reasons why it wouldnt work:
1. A clan could repeatedly start wars back to back to back and if they player isnt on the moment war ends, he could be stuck there for a very long time.
2. Some clans are not the right fit for a player (player that uses loons in a clan where nobody does, kid in an adult clan or vice versa, trophy pusher in a farming clan) and they have the right to leave
3. People that leave to donate or visit family clans shouldnt be restricted by this rule
best advice is to vet the people, make sure the clan is active and donating, and to not start the war the minute they join and instead give members a few days to settle in a decide if they want to stay before going to war

I think you don't like being called a hopper. You mean well so you figure that when you jump from clan to clan it is not hopping.
