My Guide:
Stay on for 24 hours zapping DE storages at about 1600+ cups
TH snipe to Gold 1/Crystal 3 and then look for raids with around 1k D.E and semi-full collectors. These bases can be easily Barched for 500+ D.E every raid. In between looking for these kind of bases you can always zap D.E storages with 1.5k+ D.E for another 500ish D.E profit.
With this strategy I was able to upgrade Minions to lvl 2 and upgrade Barb King 3 times within 3 days. Happy farming!
I sniped, raided, and zapped. Finished the last bit with gems I had saved up from achievements. Got it in about 2 weeks.
GiWi (any TH7 to mid TH9s) or Barch (any TH7 to premmie TH9) though placement of the DE storage will determine the difficulty. Both worked for me.
I now have maxed Barb King and maxed DE troops with a Heroic Heist of 120k. TH7 Achievement :cool:
I got BK at TH7, but left him at L1 (no abilities back then). It's actually not that difficult, as long as you're patient.
Here's how you can do it without fuss:
Just raid normally as you are used to (but if you have been training dark troops, stop that for now), but don't ignore the DDs any more. Dex will build slowly. When you reach a critical level, go for dex directly until you reach 10k.
Here's what I did:
The natural level I reached by just raiding away with giant-healer and small troops neither pushing nor purpously loosing trophies was a range where I saw a lot of low level TH8s. Their drills at low level have such little output that they are not worth defending and are therefor left outside.
When attacking I simply stopped ignoring these, I did my usual raid but dropped a couple of troops for the DD along the way. I made an average of 50 dex per TH8 raided on the side. Not much, but it does accumulate. When I would reach 7k dex my base started to get targeted because of that dex amount. So the next time i hit 7k, I went all out for dex, I lost a deal more of attacks then, but by concentrating on dex reached 10k in two sessions. Of course I would then search for bases with at least 50% filled DD and skip all others.
A good range I find to raid for dex is crystal 2 and above, but that is at TH9 now, with maxed BArch.

Easiest and fastest way to level your bk at th7 is to get up to gold 3-2. Boost your spell factory and lightning zap DE storages. Keep your resources semi low and ppl wont bother attacking you. It's lame but its fast :pQuote:
