10-11 new buildings have been added in last 3 months and no extra builder?

I think since January this year they've added almost 10 new buildings:

-Wiz tower
-Air Defence
-Dark Barracks x2
-Dark Elixir Storage
-DE Drill x2
-Extra Cannon?
-Extra Archer Tower?
-Heroes x2

To get those buildings to max level, minus the Heroes, will take 100s of days... How can they add MONTHS of building time without adding an extra builder since the game was created? I'm not even close to finishing the upgrades from the prior update and they keep coming out with new updates/buildings every few weeks these days.

Because they want you to spend gems to finish the buildings. It's all about the money mate, they need to make money.

They could easily profit by those willing to spend let's say $20 or 2500 gems for a 6th builder hut. I probably would lol.

Why not think about this statement first.
Whats the purpose of adding new buildings to the game ?

1 is to of course lengthen the effective game time so people will be playing this game even longer.
Which is important as well to keep players entertained and something to strive for.
Would you want to play clash of clan and finish this game in what 4 months and "move along" ?

I wouldn't.

And of course, increase game time means more revenue for supercell as well.

So its a win win situation.

Adding another builder hut at say 3000 gems certainly helps provide "quick cash", but that would mean people completing their base earlier, and not everybody likes trophy hunting, so they will end up slowly playing less and quit, thus reducing their long term revenue.

Anyway it also helps increase the time they have to think of a way to provide incentive for trophies.

And walls.

I think Supercell needs to slow down on the new buildings and updates rather than add another builder.
I dont want to buy another builder, i want to try and catch up on towers that are not maxed out.

I don't think another builder, just more land

No more builders, 5 is plenty.

More land would be helpful, rearranging layout is becoming really hard.

I'm glad there bringing more stuff out all the time, keeps people wanting to play, more stuff to build. If you have built and maxed everything i'm sure you would get bored pretty quick.

having more builders and having capped price instead of doubling is more beneficial

it will allow newbie's to catch up and allow more population in the end game, giving you a better pool of players to raid against.

it would disadvantage high level players as building times takes longer so you have to make a conscious decision, ie upgrading 7 defences will severely hamper your ability to defend.

But i don't expect the fan boys to understand and say that supercell needs to make money, but it should be more about fun than profit else what's the point of playing when theres no high lvl people to clash with.

For us farmers, more builders would be very helpful especially as upgrade times are so long and we have so many more defences to upgrade.

Maybe SC could find a way we can 'hire' builders from people who dont seem to be able to keep their builders busy and pay the person with gold or elixir?
