Player village interactions
I was thinking that there are a few great additions (in my opinion ) that would both bring a whole new depth to villages and multiplayer features but also give a great incentive for new members to join the action.
I have asked a few friends to download the app and got them started and I decided to jump over and watch their village, giving me the fallowing ideas

Player2Player Interactions:
Donate objects/elixir/coin/:
basic idea: if you visit someone's village you can be able to donate to them coin or elixir or perhaps even a worker to build a structure for them.
Options/Anti-Abuse: After your townhall has gotten to a certain level you get the ability to donate a specific amount to other members of any level( as long as they have the capacity for having the object/ amount of Elixir or coin). After your townhall upgrades to another specific level, the amount you can donate at one time raises.
Reasons for adding: it would allow people who recruit friends to play to help give them a starting push, would give clans another way of helping eachother out, would give people another benefit for upgrading to higher levels, helps keep interest in the game by adding another aspect too gameplay.
P2P Battle.
Attacking visited villages:
Basic idea: There could be an option to attack a village when you go to visit it ( as long as they have no shield).
Anti abuse: You can make it so that only if players are in the same league they can attack eachother. The price for this type of attack would be higher, and if the attacker loses then the opponent would gain some coin or elixir.
Reasons for adding: Brings a whole new aspect to gameplay, allows for friendly competition ( you can attack friends)
Mercenaries:
Basic idea: a player can build a mercenary post which allows them to set aside an amount of trained soldiers ( who still remain I'm their training camps, but will not go into battle unless removed from the camp) other players can come and pay a price for protection (for periods of time ) and these soldiers will then 'set up fort' at the other persons village.
It would work like a clan castle with the troop deployment.
Anti-abuse: different level buildings = different level of troops set aside.
A player who purchases the troops will only be able to get the same amount as what they could hold in their training camps( although it won't take up space).
Reasons: Brings a whole new aspect to gameplay, allows for another's lace of revenue while still keeping things balanced out
