Almost no real world non-mega-gamer or mega-gemmer players have TH10s with level 30+ heroes and freeze spells. I searched youtube for an hour once looking for a video on how to kill a TH10 with hogs and a TH9... (i.e., no freeze spells)... couldn't find one.

Almost all the youtubers are exactly what I mentioned above. So their videos are entertainment only with no real value for normal players.

Clash of Clans 3 stars clan wars has some videos that can be watched to learn some real-person tactics, and Knight Gaming has alot of nicely narrated 3 star videos...

But there is a HUGE difference between real person gameplay and mega-gemmed youtuber gameplay. First, often in real clan wars we NEED 3 stars, 2 stars is a fail. So wiping out 29% of a base and having 2 lvl40 heroes get 21% and the town hall isn't a party for most clans, its a fail. Second, low level heroes are good for cleanup and specific tasks, but they aren't able to clean up huge amounts of a base. Not a single video on youtube shows the barch strat that a clanmate of mine developed where you barch and rage everything with BKs iron fist. He took out 2 infernos and a TH10 with it once, it was awesome.

This isn't a criticism to vodka, your videos are extremely interesting and I thank you for them. Its a general commentary on the whole status of the COC youtube community. Its sooooo boring watching yet another go-blah with mega heroes and YAY i GOT 2 STARS, because that simply doesn't reflect gameplay for real people like me and my clan.

My short-term goal is to get the last lvl 7 hidden tesla.
My long-term goal is to max-out my TH9 with minimum lvl 9 walls.

Just wanted to know, how hard it is to get all lvl 10 walls as a TH9?

Haha, If u patient, it no hard, just stay in th9 and max all walls lvl 10, then go to th10. But it hard with me, when I decided go to th10, it take me about 5 days for upgrading to th10, I can't wait to max all walls 10, it make me boring. It depend on your patient lol

Oh ok. Then I would go for all lvl 10 walls later on even if its going to take me one year more, but I won't give up :)

Haha, very very detailed post, appreciate this. You described very clearly the real status for normal players, but if I post a normal attack, do we like us? And I think my vids is for real, if other people can do, why us can't do, we learn from it, and we can do the same with lower bases, is it possible?

Are you a TH8 attacking another TH8, or a TH7 attacking another TH7? Then you can definitely 3-star every time.

The strategy decreased in popularity. Sure, there's no denying that. But to say it's dead (as in always impractical) is shortsighted and based entirely on people trying to use pre-nerf strategies post-nerf. I mean, what do you expect lol

Yeah, thanks u very much for detailed post :). Hog no dead, but harder to use than before, and this is the great thing for this game, currently we have many tactics: Gowi..., Balavion, Loonian, ... , not only hogs like before. And I enjoy it, do u enjoy it like me? :o
