You ask for help? I never see it sadly, (I think once) as you would be about the only person I would fill a cream order (if I had any which sadly I never seem to have) or anything you flag even if it was my last item.
I did what you do, Before I deleted all my followers I only flagged really easy crates for them, on stuff I didn't have, just in case some did'nt have their helper achievement as I think that is actually helping others out (how I look at it) - chilli popcorn etc as so many asks in the DD are hard. Even if they have the achievement it is easy Xp points and they get a thank you note and hopefully a gift card if they wanted to help.
Not a quick answer I am afraid so sorry for the long explanation, ;)
For a few reasons, not wanting to open up a sore subject for many but when the DD was changed that was the final push for me. I don't trade so that never bothered me, the raiders got deleted. I guess mostly it was my pride,if I am honest.
I didn't want my once (I thought ) really good RSS to dwindle to a shadow, and my followers just drop off so I deleted all 200 of them. I found hard closing the RSS relaxing and addicting and didn't pass on good items and upgraded my barn quite quickly and sold excess and silo and Lems (250 average a day) along with other premium stuff. I was recovering from an operation so had a lot of time, but the more I gave the more I felt was expected (that was on me) andI hated putting non premium items even at way reduced Prices in my RSS.
It became a great burden making sure all followers got something at all different time zones, (I play night shift sometimes) I never wanted any followers in the first place (I didn't know you could delete them then) but once I got them I felt a lot of responsibility, didn't advertise (as that wasn't fair to them) and it spiralled out of control.
So the DD change turned out to be a blessing in disguise as it has freed me up to actually only put items for sale that I want to, not be tied to the game, do more other things without guilt and may soon radically slow down,,as I,am a lot better, just playing on my terms.
i delete all followers now as I know I will just get into the mindset of "I have to give them something" as it is a honor to have any followers * as you can only follow very few people and I am aware of that. also it is less time consuming to put out all good items you want to sell rather than in bits so everyone gets something.
I know I may have a weird way of looking at followers, I wish I didn't then I wouldn't have had the problem I had.
*not persistent raiders from last helper tab, before, they followed and could'nt get a lot as other followers are quick but now that isn't the case and I am having problems with the last helper tab with the Very very, few (near zero) things I am selling, so sadly I have to stop helping in the DD.
I do. :) Not a lot I guess. Maybe 4 or 5 times a week for boat stuff? It's always for stuff I don't have. And yes, for sure you've filled some crates for me before. Thank you!
And thank you, Irnbru, that is that is the highest compliment and loveliest gesture made to me in this game. I'm so honored. :o
aww, honestly i dont know what to say but i absolutely understand how you feel. sometimes i think stuff like social media brings forth good and bad feelings. i think you must be one of the nicest people out there who're so good to your followers! so you were saying you used the "DD exploit" to buy lots of premium items to put them up for your followers? well i used the trick as well but its mainly for my own use. to be honest i never thought much about followers. im ok with followers on twitter, instagram etc but i always feel that they're there because you have something to offer them. what happens if you stop being interesting? those people would just go away so its never wise to invest time and effort on them. followers on hayday are worse, i absolutely despise them if i have to put it bluntly. how many actually follow you just because they like your farm? most follow you because you have something to offer them, albeit unintentionally. for my case i trade bems for lems and then sell at the shop to earn coins so whenever people see i put up a load of deeds or mallets they start following me. i absolutely hate it! and after that some of them stole my trades so i deleted them. followers are just good for the ego and nothing else.
That's it! That's what I mean. I had many farm friends like that which I knew they had been constantly trading those sugars creams cheeses tonsss of them BUT put flag on sugars/dairy. I even commented in their adv, by putting a screenshot of their boat. "You have 500 cheeses and here is your boat crying for 15 cheeses."
Successfully removed. I mean they removed me for insulting them lols lalalalalalalala.. Whatever..
