There are a lot of people *cough* not *cough* finding *cough* any *cough* loot atm, so thought I would just map out an easier way to gain loot, without the unnecessary game of Nexts.

This is definitely an amazing way to gain elixir though if you manage your spell usage well.

Mostly because I don't need a huge loot offering to make it worth an attack. Its a sort of spin on speed farming.

Anyhoo, yeah this was simply to help those people saying things along the lines of;

"Spent 4 hours farming today, ended up with a net loss of XXX amount"

"Searched again today for a raid - nothing - close app"

"I can't save up ANY elixir, even though I am farming ok"

Half the time those that say they cant save the lixer are the ones that bang out all their spells for every raid because they are so used to relying on them. I would rather lose and forgo the loot bonus than bang out a handful of spells.

Its not all about winning every raid although the loot bonus does come in handy, sometimes its easier get in get the loot thats there and get out to save the troops and run on to the next base. If you find yourself getting too low there are normally a few snipes to be had at any level to boost yourself back up.

H I know you have said some of this already but sometimes people need to read it more than once.

I will try doing this strategy since Im saving up my elix for my lab upgrade. :)

I couldn't agree more. THE biggest elix drain when barching/all arching is spells. They may not cost so much singularly, but they add up to quite a bit of drainage.

I guess barching will be more effective & no spell needed for every raids :)

It all comes down to what is easiest for you. I find using all archers more effective for aiming, than simply spamming barbs then trying to pick off certain buildings with the archers you have left.

I would say generally though that barch would be the better one, yes :)

Everything else still applies though!

As a fan of Harris I could not skip replying to this thread. :rolleyes:

I've been doing a variation of this for a couple weeks. 2 rax arch, 1 rax each of barb and giants to get inside for storages. I'm seeing hardly any exposed TH's anymore at 2350-2550, though, and I'm relying mainly on 50%ing bases.
+1 for no spells. I use a heal every now and then if the payout is there, but that's pretty much it.
Good strat, I've convinced a few in my clan that this is the way to go for th9, at least for the moment.
