Upgrade to TH10 or wait?

I have primarily concentrated on defense's never leaving a builder idle since th8. Just recently I realized that I have been kinda slacking in the hero\wall department. So soon I will be hit with the question of upgrade to TH10 or play catch up on my heroes and walls?

P.S All of my troops are not maxed but the ones I use in my army compositions are. Also I have no problem using Bloonians on th9's without heroes. Idk if this should affect my decision.

Not sure how to post pictures but all lvl 7 wall's lvl 8-9 for intersections lvl 9 heroes going to 10. 3 archer towers 2 teslas and one cannon to go up one level each.

No, Max your base before going to Town Hall 10. Its better to do it now with better loot then with less loot percentage. I would get all your walls to at least Lvl 8, and some Lvl 9 walls. Heroes should also be worked on

I see and I agree but at what point should I upgrade?

Thanks for the advice. Not looking forward to idle builders but I guess it was inevitable.

Get at least lvl 15 heroes and lvl9 walls. Max out all your troops too, you never know when an upgrade will come along that will buff a troop you've never upgraded/nerf a troop you use all the time.

All walls lv8, all buildings/def fully upgraded, heroes both lv 15 would be a good spot. You can go earlier, but it just makes it that much harder.
And all troops maxed too.

I would suggest waiting. Firstly, because you still have quite a bit of work to do(I strongly believe in maxing Town Halls). My other reason is that loot has been a bit of a problem lately. It may not be for you, as I can not speak for everybody, but if you go to Th10 it will likely become even harder to obtain than it already is. Choice is yours though!

I see lvl 8 wall's should only be a few weeks but lvl 9 is another story. Does it really make that big of a difference. I have never hit higher than crystal II so I guess I wouldn't know.

You should definetely wait, despite what some people say it is undoubtedly harder to get loot after the update, especially for th10. Walls are much easier to get at th9 so focus on them and all your other buildings but de is easier at th10 as u get an extra drill and stronger troops. It might seem like a grind for walls but it will be worth it.

This may be a bit off the topic, but how is it even possible to get your level 8 walls that quickly! I've heard some people say it takes a similar amount of time, but I have been working on mine for what seems like forever! Am I just slow, are are others just very fast??

And if walls are a major deciding point go for lvl 10 wall's or no? Right now I get 25 - 30 mil a week in gold attacking about 50\50 th9 & th8.

I was referring to having everything else done and using all of my gold and now elixer as well on walls. And as there is no wait for builders I would probably go on a couple of binges. I boost all 4 barracks and 220 archer like crazy for 2 hours resulting in about 3-4 mil a piece of gold elixer along with all day attacking every time my troops are ready.

Yes. I'm maxed th9 working on lava walls and heroes now, so my base counts as a th10 in wars. My walls save a star on my base in half the wars, the other half of the time the person fails or im not attacked. When a king or queen is the only troop alive trying to hammer through a lvl9 wall, it takes a while.

Well I guess I better get to work. Thanks for the advice. Seems pretty unanimous. I'm at least going to lvl 9 wall's maybe lvl 10 we'll see and wherever my heroes are by the will have to be good enough. Hopefully lvl 15 tho.

That's what I thought you meant. I have had my defenses maxed out for about 2 months now, and have been working on walls this whole time...just a tad slow I guess! Thanks for clearing that up :)
