New Addition to the "Player Profile"

This idea is a new addition to a Clasher's player profile. I picture it being beside the League shield on the left. The new info displayed would be... "Average Stars per War". This information would be extremely useful when recruiting, and also serves as an incentive to be active and participate during wars. Naturally, the highest this average could be is 6.0, but as this would be a cumulative statistic (meaning it is constantly changing after each war), it will eventually drop. This stat I personally would find very helpful, and I'm sure other people would as well.

Also, and thanks to JohnnyPC for suggesting this, Clashers that raid a base in a war that has already been raided get the full value added to their profile statistic, not just the make-up stars. In other words, if a clasher were to raid a two-starred base and subsequently three-star it, their stat would get the full three-star value added to it, not the one-star that they made up for.

So if I fight in a war and get 6 stars do I attack ever again? Or am I now all set to embark on a lucrative war hopping career?

If I am in a clan and we have a tough opponent where my score is at risk of getting knocked down a tick or so do I...

• Take off without doing my attacks sparing me the risk to my average?
• Hit a lower base than I should have so my personal stats are not at risk?

If I am interested in padding my personal stats should I hit the guaranteed 3 stars at the bottom instead of the target my clan needs me to?

If I see a guy with a good 5.9 or so am I looking at a good player or just someone that plays the above tricks?

Should I look at their War Hero achievement instead?

I'd agree with this idea if it averaged total stars earned versus just the stars earned for the clan. For example, if my clanmate 2 stars a base, then I 3 star it, I would want 3 stars to go toward my average, not just 1.

I'm one of my clan's higher-ups who can 3 star almost any base in the opposing clan, so with our strategy, I wait until the end of the war to attack. I spend a lot of attacks cleaning up 2nd/3rd stars where our lower guys fell short. Counting all stars would put my average close to 6.0, whereas by counting only stars earned for the clan my average would probably be like 3.0 (which would be a very poor indication of what I actually do).

If you don't use your attacks in a war, they get added to your average as two 0 point values. (This is common sense man...) And that kills your "lucrative war hopping career".

Well that depends, do you want your clan to kick you for hurting them in the war by stealing the targets needed for your clan's lesser developed players? If so, proceed.

See above and you decide.

Should I look at their War Hero achievement instead? That is always an option as well, I figured this would give recruiter's a more concise stat.

Great idea, I hadn't thought of this.

I will certainly add this to the OP, your idea makes perfect sense.

Stars per war is highly subjective to the opponents in war, how highly ranked the player is in his own clan, how good the clan is overall, how high/low the person attacks, and when the player raids (start/end of war).
To a top player in a weak clan 6 stars wouldnt take nearly as much skill as 4 stars for a normal player in a good clan.
Right now the war stars achievement is your best bet, though that is dependent on all the factors I just mentioned + how many times this person has been in war
Also, this info is useless to clans that dont war, and by requesting this to be shown, people can also request gold grab/troops donated per season.

Troops donated is already shown, and though it resets each season, the resetting is actually more useful because it shows how active a player is on a season to season basis. Also, your logic that people can request "Gold Grab" to be shown is just... no... gold grab is already shown as an achievement, and this stat is different in its very nature from the two war based achievements currently in CoC.

Next, to a recruiter, why would you complain if you got a top player who constantly earns 6-stars in wars? C'mon man, that's what a warring clan wants! To a non-warring clan, is it that hard to ignore a stat in a person's profile? Honestly, how many people look at every detail in the profile anyway? All stats are subjective man, its in their nature. To a point you just have to deal, and decide how much value you personally *cough* *cough* (subjective) put in them.

Furthermore, people can request anything to be shown... Why does this post give them special permission? Your logic is flawed.

I take it this idea is not going over well... Any suggestions? I'd appreciate any constructive criticism.

This would be a useless statistic. If your top guy raids the bottom two, he will get six stars. If your bottom guy two stars the top two, he will only get four stars, but he is the better raider.
