[The Dunphy] TH8 Farming Base

This is still a work in progress. I am more than open to constructive criticism.

I am still a fairly new TH8. I am fairly certain that as my defenses get upgraded, this base will just get better. I just have not had a lot of attacks to test it with.

I don't have a lot of words to put here. Instead, here are some pictures. For those using FireFox, if you want a little better resolution on the pictures, right click on one and select 'View Picture'.

As you can see, I don't get attacked a lot, but when I do, I usually do fairly well.

If anyone spots any improvements that can be made please, let me know. Thank you for taking the time to look.

I feel your mortars are too exposed and don't have enough triangulation.

I kind of thought about switching them out with the storages, but then they would not cover any of the edges.

See anywhere better to put them?

I like the tesla trap! Base looks great.

At first glance.....with the storages :D

you really don't want 4 storages in one compartment anyways

I think I will try swapping them after I get my next upgrades up and running. If you are interested, I'll keep you posted.

Hey Snarg,

I kinda like your base, looks solid. I have just one question: where's the third gold and elexir storages? :)

Thanks, glad you like it :)

From what I understand, at TH8 there are no upgrades that cost more than what two gold/lix storages can contain. If I build two more, that is two more storages I have to protect. If I don't need 'em, I won't build 'em :)

Did you also notice that I don't have a DE drill? Same theory. I get all my DE from raiding so, if I don't need the drill I won't build it.

Good point, although when u have three storages you can diversify resources thus minimizing losses when attacked. Also the sooner u have your de drill maxed, the more de you'll drill :) Either way, good luck and good loot! ;)
