Fare War: Solution against "Simulate Attacks"

This is an awesome idea! Their player base won't lose as many players. Why didn't this come with a poll?

Good idea! Another way to do this would be to remove the wait period for clan wars, as players could just plan their attacks before starting w/out the thirty second window.

I know that it would be difficult for SuperCell to completely get rid of 3rd party applications. But I propose a good solution against "Simulate Attacks". We have "Scout" button for the players to have a look at all the war bases to choose the target. Currently, when you click Scout, all the information about the war base, including the location of the hidden bombs,Tesla, and the troops in the clan castle would be retrieved from the server. So the ♥♥♥♥♥ing player can do a full attack simulation using the 3rd party application. And we have another button "Attack" to start the attack, we have 30 seconds think time before the formal attack happens. Currently, before the formal happens, all the information are also been retrieved.

My proposal is: don't retrieve any information about the hidden bombs, Tesla, and clan castle until the formal attack is started (that is after the 30-second think time or the player throws a troop). It means, once those hidden information were retrieved from the server, the attack starts, you lose or won.

Note here: SupperCell only have to apply the changes to clans wars. So it will absolutely has no negative impact to farm players. And with careful design to the user interface of the clans wars, it won't have negative impact to the expierence of clans wars.

In such way, the ♥♥♥♥♥ing players can only simulate attack without hidden information, making it much less harmful to other players.

I strongly suggest SupperCell pay enough attention to the problem of "Simulate Attack", it is really harmful and could destroy the game. So please take whatever action like I proposed against "Simulate Attack" to save the game.

If all of you guys even give a ♥♥♥♥ about things being fair, then even it out by using the ♥♥♥♥ing third party apps. If someone makes a popular game, there are gonna be mods and ♥♥♥♥s that people will use. Obviously you know that these exist, why not just use them if you even care?! Some of the comments on this thread are so ignorant, like scrap out the preparation day, scrap out the visit feature, one of the guys even went to an extent and recommended that 30 sec timer should also be removed.

Be reasonable guys. There is already a mechanism in place.

• While I hate the preparation day, it is really important so that the war clan castle gets filled. It is also important to from a collective warring strategy for a clan
• Visit feature is there to plan out the attacks. Clan war bases are not you little ol' farming bases, where heroes or defences might be upgrading or CC might be empty. Wars are tough and competitive. I don't know about others, but a lot of times, I find myself planning for more than 20 mins on how to attack a base
• On removing the 30 sec timer: You're kidding me right? This is a standard feature in COC while attacking. 30 seconds are needed a lot of times when lets say we need the king or queen nearer while attacking, so that first wave of troops don't end up bashing walls while the queen keeps hitting them

Additionally, I don't really know what kind of c-h-e-a-t-ing you're talking about, because ghosting was stopped long back. And I believe that the server retrieves data about traps only when a player confirms to start that attack, after which it would be counted as an attack, even if you surrender without dropping any troops. Correct me if I am mission something here.
