Combine Units - Large animal with saddle for a few archers/wizards?

OK, not a totally new idea but in the film lord of the rings there are giant elephant type creatures with saddles/platforms.

Would it be possible to create something similar?

ie; You have a new single creature, let's stick to elephants for the sake of this example but could be anything, which can move towards the base and do it's own attacks banging and smashing what it comes up against - but in addition to this let's have the ability to place Archers or Wizards on it's back. This way they can also be doing damage at the same time.

Should the beast die in battle then any troops it's carrying can be dropped and just carry on attacking as normal

Could be a good way to mix regular troops with DE troops

Sounds like we had similar ideas.

I was thinking more towards having multiple archers, say up to 8, or 2 wizards, on the back of the beast! And also have them attack at the same time.

Yeah:) or perhaps different types of beasts...wolves that carry 1 troop (1 archer, barb, goblin, wall breaker or wizard) and elephants that carry 10 spaces!

The only thing that put me off them both attacking at the same time is that if you're riding on an elephant, its hard to reach all the way down with a little barbarian sword and reach the target...ranged units would work though.

Yeah we just need to keep bumping each others threads and itll get installed;)
