Needing builders for walls

Needing builders for walls...I would love to see this gone. Walls take no time at all to upgrade and really shouldn't need a builder. I am always getting to this point where I have all my builders on a job and I'm just farming away until my recourses are filled up (or close). Then there is really nothing for me to do. I think "walls!....oh wait."

If walls took time, I would get it, but they don't. If the walls didn't require builders, players will always have something to do. No builders? Raid some more, upgrade walls, rinse and repeat.

All I'm saying, is it just really sucks when you are out of options with things to do in the game, and I feel the walls would solve that problem.

Think realistically. Walls need to be built correct? and who builds things? our very own village bob the builder.

They took reality out of the equation when they didn't out a time on building walls. If the walls just magically upgrade, builders are not needed.

This would ruin a major part of the strategy of the game, and would kill the raiding economy.

Right now, you either have to keep a builder free for walls, or choose your builds carefully so your builders are staggered and free up every day or two. If you could build walls without builders people would just constantly dump excess resources into walls instead of being forced to hold onto them until a builder frees up.

So then whats your point? if you agree that people would just dump resources into walls (without a builder) when they log off for the day instead of planning ahead, why do you think that builders are unnecessary for walls?

...and the reason that walls no longer take time to build is because there are so many and it was a royal pain having to wait for them to upgrade, even if the cumulative time wasn't much.


Yeah, having to sit on resources and wait for a builder kinda sucks, but it also forces you to be strategic about timing your builds, and makes more loot available for people who are raiding, which are two of the main components of the game...so if you agree with what I said before you should see the problem with doing this...that it would make planning ahead not as important, and make a lot less resources available for looting.

I still like my idea, but this was a good point I hadn't thought of and I agree with. I am allowed to agree with an opposing statement, right?
