In a nutshell the best place to farm, post update. Averaging 1 to 1.5k per troop which is a darn sight more than I've managed in any of the 1000-2000 ranges post update. Not the rivers of gold it once was but at least I'm having fun again, whilst accumulating gold in the fastest fashion. Oh and I'm a 75% maxed TH8 in case anyone was wondering.
I take it back...it's even better than 1-1.5k per troop - the last hour has been amazing, probably averaged 60k in gold per raid per 20 troops.
I've been getting plenty of loot up in the 1300-1400 range, but I might give this a shot! Is there any dark elixir up for grabs there?

I get great loots as a TH8 at 1100-1400 trophies but usually 1250 does it
Anyone know how a th9 would do down there?
The highest loot I managed to raid after the update was 600k gold, and 400k elixir from one (probably inactive) base. I usually farm in the 1400s trophy range, and I've seen some pretty good loot around that (200k+ of each resource per raid). I stocked up 1.8 mil gold in half a day, so I'd say it's going pretty good.
EDIT: Oh, and I'm a TH8.
