Sorry for another DE zapping thread but this isn't one to argue

I've been arguing about this topic for a long time and I'm sure nobody likes to argue amongst our blind selves

Instead, I wanna see the positives in it :D There has to be some good in it, right?

What good does it bring to the game? How, in your opinion, is it balanced? Why do YOU zap instead of making an army comp? Why do you think others zap? Would removing zapping be a step in the wrong direction in the game?

I will try to be as neutral as possible. Remember, this is just for the zapper's opinion and no flaming!

What good does it bring to the game? I get DE to upgrade troops
How, in your opinion, is it balanced? Leagues arent balanced so we deal with it. You get zapped, deal with it.
Why do YOU zap instead of making an army comp? Because i have the extra loot to just make lightning spells to zap you

Would removing zapping be a step in the wrong direction in the game? YES.

I zap for the little extra resources if I run out of troops n such.

Let's say I barch a th9 or th10 and only get 2 gold storages, and there is a DE storage in the middle which I can't get to because I've run out of troops. I check to see if I have any Lightning spells, if I do, I think may as well get a little extra loot. I then use the lightning spells on that DE storage. I mean, my aim is to get as much loot as possible in a raid.

OR

If I attack a th9 or th10 with a free TH and (let's say) 2k DE in the DE storage. I attack the TH and 4 teslas show up, because of that, you deserve a lightning to your storage. Teslas near a free TH is just dog.

OR

Revenge

Just assume that everyone who zaps is swimming in capped elixir, accidentally brewed too many lightning spells, and do it before they sleep so that new spells can be qeued overnight.

What WOULD make me feel better if someone is super low on elixir (>100k), accidentally made lightning spells, had to use them, and then had to go the whole day without attacking because they're still waiting for their collectors to finish.

What if they accidentally made 5 jump spells and had to use them and go the whole day without attacking because they are low on elixir? Will u also be happy?

But "they" hasn't made the lightning spells to zap yet:rolleyes:

I don't have the patience when raiding to use any army comp other than barch. I also don't have the patience to wait for spells when raiding, they just take too long. There is only one DE storage and it's generally the most protected structure in a base so it's very difficult to get to using barch without using spells. I could just queue up some spells and do normal raiding until the spells ready and then do a DE raid but even using spells with barch is not that reliable for getting to the DE storage and you have to do a lot of searching to find a base that doesn't have it protected by too much splash defense. I'd rather just focus on getting gold and elixir and zap as lightning spells become available.

Most people that complain about zapping I think are th9s that beat up on th8s all day long with their lvl 6 giants. I'm a th8 and I get revenge attacked for my DE by th9s all the time even when I just snipe their town hall and don't zap.

You don't lose that much DE when zapped, maybe 600-700 at most if you get hit with 3 spells and you have a lot in the storage. At th9 that's just 3 hours of pump time on your maxed out pumps. Not a bad trade for a 12 hour shield. Don't have your pumps maxed yet? What are you waiting for.

At th8 I welcome zappers because i don't lose that much DE, I get the shield, and it's preferable to getting cleaned out by a th9.
