Declaring War Mistakes

Backstory: Someone in your clan might have accidentally declared war when not supposed to and gets off the app after and war is declared.

Idea: When the war is declared send mail or send a message directly onto the clans chat that only Leaders are able to click on and choose. Each message is sent to each clan leader and only they can decide of "Declare" or "Retreat". If declared is clicked the war would go on as normal. If Retreat is chosen the leader can put in a message on why and would be sent to the enemy clan. No trophies or elixir/gold would be lost.

There is a message in the clan chat that pops up when someone starts the clan war...

Yes but what I mean is when that comes up the leader choses to accept it or not.

Technically they can, if the clan is still in searching mode, the leader, or any other co leader can cancel it.

Hmm.. Not a bad idea, a small feature Supercell could easily put in. Despite this, as others pointed it out, war can be cancelled during the search. War can only be started by Leaders and Co-Leaders. So it is up to the leader to carefully choose trusted Co Leaders and demote and kick untrustworthy ones.
